Terms of use

Effective [date]. [Company name], [contact email]. Draft: to be reviewed by a lawyer before publication.

These terms apply to the Laylo browser extension and web app ("Laylo"). By installing or using Laylo you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.

Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install the extension and use Laylo for your own purposes, with the features of your plan. Laylo is licensed, not sold: we and our licensors keep every right not given to you here, including all rights in the software, its page templates, web part designs, styles and documentation.

What you may not do

Your content

The pages you view and the files you save are yours, or the website owners'. Laylo reads pages in your browser and doesn't send their content to us (see the privacy policy). A saved file shows a page as Laylo drew it; you may share your files, but not the templates themselves.

Plans

Some features need a paid plan. [Prices, billing, renewal and refunds.]

Ending

You may stop using Laylo at any time by removing the extension. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. The sections on what you may not do, liability and the law that applies survive.

No warranty, limited liability

Laylo is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. [Adjust to the applicable law.]

Trademarks

Microsoft, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Laylo is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Microsoft.
